How we work
Editorial policy & research standards
These standards apply to Vora's health, fitness, wearable, product, and industry coverage. They explain what evidence we trust, where our conflicts sit, and how to flag a problem.
What we publish
Vora publishes original product analysis, wearable comparisons, research explainers, and practical guides. Our goal is to make the evidence and trade-offs clear enough that a reader can make a decision, not to manufacture certainty or repeat a press release.
Our sourcing hierarchy
We prefer primary sources: peer-reviewed research, regulator and court records, manufacturer documentation, official release notes, earnings materials, and first-party app listings. Reputable independent reporting can add context. Community posts, forums, and Reddit can show user sentiment or surface a problem, but they are not used alone to establish a factual product or medical claim.
Comparisons and ratings
We compare products on disclosed criteria such as capabilities, platform support, pricing, data access, evidence quality, and practical trade-offs. Vora is our product, so articles that include Vora are not independent reviews. We identify that relationship and link readers to competitor sources so they can verify the comparison.
We never rank Vora
We make Vora, so Vora does not get a rank in our own lists. When an article ranks or recommends apps, it says near the top that we make Vora. The ranked list, and the ItemList structured data behind it, contains only other products, ordered by the criteria the article states. Vora gets its own section after the list, covering who it is for, what it does and its limits, checked against our help center and integrations pages. Comparison tables can include Vora as a row or column labeled as our app. Titles, descriptions, headings and FAQ answers do not present Vora as the top or best pick. Pages that compare Vora with a single app say plainly that Vora is ours and are not presented as independent rankings.
Health and research content
We distinguish consumer-wearable estimates from clinical measurements and summarize research in our own words. Vora content is educational and is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Readers should use a qualified clinician for individual medical decisions.
Updates, corrections, and AI assistance
Time-sensitive articles carry a visible updated date and source list. Our team may use software and AI tools to organize research, identify gaps, or improve clarity, but a human is accountable for publication. We correct material errors and update the article date when the substance changes.
